"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different".. Coco Chanel. I shall live and die by this quote. Be who you want to be, not who someone wants you to be, it honestly is the difference between being happy and not. I aim to blog about fashion and all that surrounds it.

Ink&Corn

Ever since I bought my new Canon a few weeks...months back, I haven't used it to it's full potential. So the other day, inspiration struck and a little idea festered in my mind.

With the help of a fabulous friend and her boyfriend, I managed to agree Keira and Josh to get a little brave and baring nature. 'Gettin' um out' in a field is not your most normal Sunday routine but it was most certainly a laugh.

I haven't done a shoot in a while but I'm more then happy with the results... My main aim was to show a different kind of individual beauty in Summer's late afternoon light.

Silky pants and cloudy skies

After a few weeks of such warm weather, as much as I hate to say it, today was a pleasant break from baking like a beast 24/7 (especially being in work, on a Sunday, while the majority are chillin' at home).

Being a little cooler, it was prime time to road test some new trousers I bought last week. A silky, light weight patterned pyjama pant. Believe it or not... Matalan. £12!  Complete bargain. And after wearing them all day at work, I was shocked that they didn't have one single crease in them! I hate looking like a scruffy, creased rag by the end of the day, so these are a even bigger bonus!

I also don't usually blog beauty related but today I thought I'd just add in my lip option, I wore my pale pink Mac; Pink Nouveau along with my Bare Minerals Buxom beige. Sometimes the mac lipstick feels too pale but today I was a fan!  I do love a layering combo!

Who's loving the weather then? Enjoying the lift or wanting the heat!?

Here's my outfit from today, hope your all well!

Sun, music and tassel's

Summer is 110% finally here! (Woo!!)

It's been a long time since I've blogged, lots has been going on as always what with working and once again being ill and then a sudden burst of 'let's drop everything and go on holiday' (Fray's choice which I did not complain about) we ended up in Egypt for a week of total relaxation.   Thank you SecretEscapes! We then returned home for Fray's birthday and Wireless Fest!

So as you can see.... It's been a busy few weeks. But I'm back again and with what I think is just truly fabulous!

Before we went away I became rather obsessed with Ragged Priest and bought a few bits in the sale at Topshop.  I have to say I got SO excited with this purchase. For wireless on Friday it was the only choice of what to wear!

So here's my little outfit post from Friday at Wireless

Top; H&M
Shorts; Ragged Priest
Bag; H&M
Shoes; Diesel

Bracelets; Topshop
Necklace; Topshop

Mid jig!
There's nothing like a good old dip-dye tassel..

If you haven't, check out Ragged, it's awesome!

Throwback Thursday to the max!

So, my throw back is a true statement. Yesterday I delved back in time to the 1980s and attempted to rock it. This entailed a rather nice bargain beauty from Choice (company sister to Next)  and yay for bargains!

I'm getting a little obsessed with matching two pieces and there are some fab ones out and about. This one was originally £50 for the jacket and £30 for the trousers, in total in Choice I paid £29.00!!!!!!!!

So here it is a little funky 80s vibe (albeit before my birth... But the chiffon loveliness is totes gorge)

Zara palms

I love orange. And I also love slinky material. Combine the two, sell it in Zara and I'm your weakest link, easy.

There are honestly so many beautiful things in Zara, all the time. It's very hard to control yourself and maintain calm when purchasing and seems pay day had just been and I needed some nee bits for our trip to Toulouse next week, it was the obvious answer.

BONJOUR SILKY PANTS!

I saw these and knew straight away they needed to be sculpted to my behind and so be it.. Along with some new shoes to match of course! (My Topshop gladiators are getting a bit over worn!)

Head over to Zara guys and girls, so many things and so worth the pennies! Do it.  Do it.   Do it!!!

My outfit from yesterday;

Top Primark
Necklace H&M
Trousers Zara £29.99
Shoes Zara £59.99

Tassel tale's

Ever since I was little I have had a tassel obsession that has driven me crazy... But I love it! To this day, if I see some tassels it take me back to Greek islands and 'wild child' tassel crop tops by the pool! I wish I could find them now.. I would still so wear it with a little bad ass cartoon on my chest! If anyone knows of any... Holla!

Anyway, my grown up tassels have come in the form of Topshop's beautiful tie dye tassel dress! Absolute bargain and can be found online at this moment in time, it's so easy to wear even in some early English sun were having. I wore it to work the other day with my trusty Topshop gladiator boots and little denim jacket. Visit Toppyshoppy for all things tassely!

I love this dress.. So so much! It's unreal. I just want to constantly wear it.. Must invest in some accessories :)

Here's my look!

Power Pants!

I absolutely love a pair of Palazzo pants, I only had one pair until very recently when I decided enough was enough and I would literally die if I didn't get another pair pronto (obvs not). So the search began... I wanted high waisted, wideeeee legs and plain. Not much to ask for I didn't think?

It wasn't the easiest of searches, I'm not gonna lie, however, the pair that I did find.. Yay for me! I love them. Good old Asos saved the day and only for £22.00. Bargain.

Of course they needed a little debut (after alot of steam ironing) and what better place then at work!

Here's my new power panties.. And I still want to invest in more! POWER TO THE PALAZZO!

Crop top Topshop
Necklace ebay
Palazzo's Asos

(Needed a little cover up at half 7 when I left for work as it was a bit nippy!)

Anyone else palazzo'n up?

If not... You must!  Plain black ones are my next!
