"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different".. Coco Chanel. I shall live and die by this quote. Be who you want to be, not who someone wants you to be, it honestly is the difference between being happy and not. I aim to blog about fashion and all that surrounds it.

Bonjour!!

Bonjour from across the pond!!

I type this to you in my boyfriends new home for a year in the South of France! Toulouse, to be exact.

We arrived on Wednesday to settle Fray in for his new adventure at Airbus and it has been a crazayy few days. However, we've got over the worst bit of having no tea for two days and no fridge so onwards and upwards now.

Finally we got chance to have a touristy moment yesterday afternoon and wondered around, with me of course spending a little, not much changes even when I leave the country clearly. Anyway, what better time to do a little outfit post..

Qui?

Dippin' and a-dyin', eBay style

It's always the same, I go on eBay to sell some bits and pieces and I end up watching a zillion things, get out bid on things that were destined to be mine in the last few seconds am then become so frustrated I vow never to be lured in again... 5 minutes later I'm knee deep in another bid war approaching the vital 10seconds remaining mark.

God help me, out of all the destined pieces, I ended up with one thing. One. It's a cruel, cruel game.
Anyway, I'm not bitter at all, I'm more then happy with my bargain purchase and it's something I've been wanting for a while!  Finally a long maxi organza dress shirt.  I found a seller, names shall not be named, but with several lovely bits that I was determined to snap up.

I finally got this long purple dip dye number just in time for the warming weather again, so as I had a day off work and time to get my nails done and have lunch with the boyfriend I thought what perfect time to wear it for its new foster home!

Teamed up with my Levi shorts, also a Ebay buy from last year, my trusty Topshop gladiator boots and Topshop Cami. Sunglasses, Ray Ban, Necklace Dorothy Perkins and bag River Island.

Mono-blocks

It's been a while since a little outfit post up here, and I really have not taken full advantage of working in a studio for the past 5 months! So today after work I got the lovely Cassie to snap away for my latest post.

I bought this mono jumpsuit in Topshop the other week and it is SO comfy to wear, it's literally like being in your Pj's all day!

It's current stock at www.topshop.com
For £38 I think it's a pretty good catch and it also comes in other variations online! Go check it ladies..

I love the back detail with just a single little button to fasten you in, it's not at all restricting just a little irritating to button up with acrylic nails!

Ink&Corn

Ever since I bought my new Canon a few weeks...months back, I haven't used it to it's full potential. So the other day, inspiration struck and a little idea festered in my mind.

With the help of a fabulous friend and her boyfriend, I managed to agree Keira and Josh to get a little brave and baring nature. 'Gettin' um out' in a field is not your most normal Sunday routine but it was most certainly a laugh.

I haven't done a shoot in a while but I'm more then happy with the results... My main aim was to show a different kind of individual beauty in Summer's late afternoon light.

Silky pants and cloudy skies

After a few weeks of such warm weather, as much as I hate to say it, today was a pleasant break from baking like a beast 24/7 (especially being in work, on a Sunday, while the majority are chillin' at home).

Being a little cooler, it was prime time to road test some new trousers I bought last week. A silky, light weight patterned pyjama pant. Believe it or not... Matalan. £12!  Complete bargain. And after wearing them all day at work, I was shocked that they didn't have one single crease in them! I hate looking like a scruffy, creased rag by the end of the day, so these are a even bigger bonus!

I also don't usually blog beauty related but today I thought I'd just add in my lip option, I wore my pale pink Mac; Pink Nouveau along with my Bare Minerals Buxom beige. Sometimes the mac lipstick feels too pale but today I was a fan!  I do love a layering combo!

Who's loving the weather then? Enjoying the lift or wanting the heat!?

Here's my outfit from today, hope your all well!

Necklace: Ebay
Trousers: Matalan

Sun, music and tassel's

Summer is 110% finally here! (Woo!!)

It's been a long time since I've blogged, lots has been going on as always what with working and once again being ill and then a sudden burst of 'let's drop everything and go on holiday' (Fray's choice which I did not complain about) we ended up in Egypt for a week of total relaxation.   Thank you SecretEscapes! We then returned home for Fray's birthday and Wireless Fest!

So as you can see.... It's been a busy few weeks. But I'm back again and with what I think is just truly fabulous!

Before we went away I became rather obsessed with Ragged Priest and bought a few bits in the sale at Topshop.  I have to say I got SO excited with this purchase. For wireless on Friday it was the only choice of what to wear!

So here's my little outfit post from Friday at Wireless

Top; H&M
Shorts; Ragged Priest
Bag; H&M
Shoes; Diesel

Bracelets; Topshop
Necklace; Topshop

Mid jig!
There's nothing like a good old dip-dye tassel..

If you haven't, check out Ragged, it's awesome!

Throwback Thursday to the max!

So, my throw back is a true statement. Yesterday I delved back in time to the 1980s and attempted to rock it. This entailed a rather nice bargain beauty from Choice (company sister to Next)  and yay for bargains!

I'm getting a little obsessed with matching two pieces and there are some fab ones out and about. This one was originally £50 for the jacket and £30 for the trousers, in total in Choice I paid £29.00!!!!!!!!

So here it is a little funky 80s vibe (albeit before my birth... But the chiffon loveliness is totes gorge)
