"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different".. Coco Chanel. I shall live and die by this quote. Be who you want to be, not who someone wants you to be, it honestly is the difference between being happy and not. I aim to blog about fashion and all that surrounds it.

Insta-louboutin

Good morning all,

I was just flicking around on my Instagram wasting time as usual when sketchbook work is at hand, and I saw that Louboutin had uploaded a new photo..

All I can say is wow. I've seen the crazy ballet point shoes before that Christian has created but I guess there's something more seeing them on a dancer.. They look phenomenal! They're apparently custom made for CR fashion book, worn by NY Giants Ramses Barden and NYC Ballet dancer Faye Arthurs.

I just had to share this with you

LWFE, Somerset House

This year I decided to hit Somerset House for London Fashion Weekend again, Im sad to say I was actually a bit disappointed.

Im not sure what it was, I was pretty exhausted to start with, and it started to snow, and we was running a little late. So you can imagine! And being half term. Chaos! However, it wasn't all bad, we half ran to the door and bustled along in the queue to the catwalk tent and as we walked in (pretty much the last to enter) we was asked if we wanted front row seats? ER, YEAH!!! Literally, the first seats on the front row, they we're brilliant.  I had my camera with me of course and was snap happy on the 'frow'. Don't mind me!

After the catwalk, it was a mass scrum to glance over the few pieces of Westwood, Cavalli, Valentino and the likes. It was painful to move and even more painful when all you wanted to do was get out of a room!! Anyway, enough moaning... Instead I'll share my pictures of the catwalk and the treasures I saw amongst the crowds..

Jumpsuit must have, especially the back detail on this one!

I do love a bit of Orange!

Summer Brights!

Cutest collection of neons in messenger format.

Orange again... I can't help it!

Nude toes, yet these detailed peep toes are anything but boring!

The most amazing leather gloves ever, Nail art eat your heart out!

A beautiful assortment of colour on a snowy February morning

Sorry for such a image heavy post but, these pictures make the day seem a lot better then what I thought of it. So lets start doing the rain sun dance and bring on the Summer days to get fruity and fun! I cannot wait to bag my jumpers up. Come at me Summer 2013.

Post Company

After my little post on Thursday, filling you all in on where I've been and what I've been doing, I had my last day at Company and also had a little feature on their app! (See below) All rather exciting. After being there for 2 weeks it felt like so much longer, but as a little treat they gave me a little bag of goodies to say thank you!

It was so unexpected but such a nice gesture to be thanked for helping the team out, after all, giving me the experience was a bigger favour than anything I did for them I'm sure! So my little black bag consisted of glitter hair spray (come at me 90s school disco), loads of nail varnishes, nail wraps and other beauty products such as eye liners, shadows and bronzer/blusher! Great bonus as far as I'm concerned. So thank you Team Company...

A rather bland post..

I miss my blog!

I feel like I haven't posted in FOREVER, and I pretty much haven't. I've had two weeks off of Uni for Reading week and so on, and some how, a two week internship at Company magazine fell in my lap.

I could not say no, so every day 9.30 - 5.30 I've been at my little desk with the Features team beavering away.. Tomorrow's my last day and as much as I've enjoyed it and got some awesome experience, I'll be glad to have a lay in and finish off my work thats looming over my head! Of course, not before I attend LFWE on Friday morning. It's been hell being so close to the Fashion week shenanigans but not being able to attend! There's always next year though... or the year after! Or maybe even the year after that!

Anyway, one of my highlights whilst being at Company was being able to do a little feature myself! I've been involved in a lot of the research stuff for April/May issues so watch this space and I'll add them as and when but at the start of Fash week I was asked to look into other stuff happening during London's time to shine and its HERE!!! My name's at the bottom and everything!!!!
It's such a small thing but I am so chuffed! It's nice to have proof of your time at a internship. The new weekly edit is out tomorrow and I'm hoping for some of my stuff to be on that too! FINGERS CROSSED!!!!

Anyway, thats all for now. I didn't want you to think I was gone... not that you probably care! :)

Take care

Androgyny Shoot

Recently all of my posts have been all shopping or outfit related so I thought it was time to break the mould!  Yesterday I did a shoot for part of my current University projects and I thought it would be nice to share it with you as a Preview before anyone else gets to see the images! (Feel privileged! :) )

The theme was Androgyny and is part of our Fashion Narrative project of a Short Fashion film of the 'Next Thing'. Me and the girls (my group) brainstormed until our heads literally hurt and the Androgynous take on it was all we could end up thinking about. I decided to also make it into a Photographic shoot for a Fashion shoot in our other project we currently have running, a magazine.  So I hunted high and low and got together SO much stuff. I absolutely love styling images and taking them too. Here we go!!!

I'd love some feedback if you wouldn't mind!
