"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different".. Coco Chanel. I shall live and die by this quote. Be who you want to be, not who someone wants you to be, it honestly is the difference between being happy and not. I aim to blog about fashion and all that surrounds it.

Happy Halloween!

I am disgusted in myself with my sudden neglecting of the blogger-sphere.

However, please forgive me, what with my minor University breakdowns and visiting Frazer in France life has got all a bit too spooky for my own liking. In true Halloween spirit (or not for me this year), it's all about getting your spook on and I wanted to share with a little gruesomeness in warm up for tonight!

Powder Puff Pink

Meet THE coat. Coat, welcome to the blog! I'm sure it won't be the only appearance it makes..

The sun was shining well one Monday and after another long testing day in Uni, I've started to discover the best way for me to unwind and relax is to pick up my camera and snap away. So once again, we trundled down to the pebbly beach and took it in turns to get our latest Outfit of the Day looks! Hannah snapped away once again, getting some lovely shots AND she's now constantly on Manual.
Yay us for getting to grips with the technicalities of the SLR world.

I absolutely love Hannah's style of photography, she literally gets THE best close up's of little detail. Obviously, the fact that I have a new beautiful coat and my pretty Vivienne Westwood ring on certainly contributes, Sorry Han.

I really dislike Winter and I will apologise now for the amount of time's I am going to complain about it until we next have a moment of warmth on this planet.

But for now, let's bottle up them last few rays of sunshine and sleep with them in the bottom of our bed for extra warmth in our cold, rotting cottages at night!
(No personal relation to my life there.....not one bit..)

As we do, we make sure we swap and take it in turns to practice clicking away and mastering the lighting of a Studio set up. So, Here are Hannah's pictures of me from our studio session, obviously, along with some of my new purchases from the lock in last week in Brighton!  Which may I just add, made my dreams come true as I FINALLY got my 'Pin-ter-oat' (Pink Winter Coat), I have being crazy for one for literally a few months since I saw a spread in Stylist...

Take a look at Hannah's blog to see a different side of the story, she's alright ya know... probably should follow her you know..

Selfie, or not so Selfie

Following on from yesterday's post, whilst we was in the studio I was helping Hannah get her best Selfie for the current Rankin/Hunger magazine competition. Asking for a selfie that "most creatively expresses the person through the medium of instagram – the King of Selfies if you will. And for any budding photographer, or in fact, model, the prize ain’t half bad either." Hunger

There was only one option and that was to make it ALL about the hair and Hannah's crazy personality. I think we did a bloody good job of capturing her, I thought it would be nice to share them here for everyone to enjoy :)

Oh and GO TEAM HANNAH! (Prize is a session with Rankin himself...AGHH)

I don't think we could of captured Hannah any better than this. Fact.

Studio Style

Well. I don't even know how to begin with what my weeks are consisting of.   WHY HAS NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIRD YEAR IS LIKE THIS! Okay, they might have done. But still. Wowah.

Me and Hannah decided we needed a afternoon off and to play about with our camera's some more. After finallyyyyy getting some studio time booked at Uni, we decided after our spend up in Brighton at the Student lock in what a better time to practice setting up the studio from scratch and learning ourselves. (More to the point, We didn't have a choice but we achieved it!)

Here's what I took of Hannah,

Dress H&M
Necklace H&M
Shoes New Look

Top Zara
Skirt H&M
Boots H&M
Spider Ring Brighton Lanes

Headband M&S
Coat H&M
Leggings H&M
Sandals Zara

Keep ya eye's peeled, my outfit's will be coming as will there be some more of Hannah for a special entry!!!!  But for now, I am returning to my ever-growing, suffocating mound of third year work.

Bobble hats and Jelly Fish

My sister came down to visit me this weekend, check out the new house and the local bars.. what else is a big sister meant to do! Being the little beauty that she is, we headed down to our new favourite spot on the sea front and began snapping away in a strangely warm October afternoon. While the tide gradually retreated further and further we sunk into the soggy sand, found Jelly fish and mussles and watched some Horse's galloping into the ever beautiful sunset across the sea.

So here she is, being the babe that she is... Emmy!

Is it safe to cook mussels that you find at the beach? We wasn't sure but this could be a truly exciting moment in time for me if so..

Because everyone needs a Titanic moment in life.
